Holds four things in her work ethic; integrity, positive energy, hard work, and creativity.
Laura Turner grew up in Maryland where she fell in love with the outdoors and entertainment. Throughout her High School career, Laura ran track, sang in choirs, and participated in the yearly musical theaters. She received her first Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland. Then in 2012, she received her second Bachelor of Science Degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. Laura wanted to put her two loves together to write encouraging blogs on healthy living, leadership, and entertainment. To ensure that her writing was on par she received her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University in 2017.
Her writing will challenge her audience to experience the world differently. She hopes to have her audience see the effect that optimism and positivity will have on their life, community, and the world.
With her knowledge of leadership, she hopes to challenge leaders to think outside the box of what they have known.
With her book "Love's Grace," she hopes to bring awareness to social stigma and the world’s non-acceptance of mental disorders. Her personal experience with post-traumatic stress disorder gives her insight and inspiration for stories that focus on how individuals overcome adversity.
Laura has been a single parent since 2003. Now that both of her children are grown, you can find Laura on the weekends exploring the world around her or making new friends. She loves spending time with her amazingly creative children as they seek to change the world through water conservation and dance therapy.
